The ceremony, held in the Chapel, marks the beginning of the rechartering process. Members of the KA national office presented the chapter with their Provisional Certificate, accepted by Knox.

Officers were also named as follows: President, Tom Knox; Vice President, Micah Crews; Recording Secretary, Jeremiah Jeffers; Corresponding Secretary, Dylan Boyd; Historian, Anthony Petrutz; Parliamentarian, Andrew Baldasare; Sergeant-At-Arms, Josh Boone; Marshal, Yemi Shonibare.

When asked how he felt about the future of KA at Wesleyan, Knox said, "Now that we have gotten off the ground and are up and running, I look forward to a very productive year with all twelve members that are working diligently and very hard for this to be a success. Although parts of the process might prove to be a bit strenuous, it should pull all of us together to form a solid core that we can build from and to let us continue to grow with the rest of the Greek community."
